新境地の3rdアルバム [ Botanical ]

3年ぶりにリリースするニューアルバムは、ドラムがRikiyaWashioにメンバーチェンジ後の初のアルバムに。plant cellが掲げる、花・植物・自然風景を題材に、風景画を描いたようなサウンドスケープを一貫して表現してきた「Flowergaze」の金字塔的作品。
バンドの根幹のひとつである「緑」をテーマに、マイナスイオンを浴びているかのようなアップテンポナンバーの[Botanical Shower]から、シングルとして発表した[ Princess of Wales Roses ]や、[ Summer on Route 134 ]のアルバムバージョンに加え、初期活動時、SoundCloud で無料公開していた[ AZUSA ]を再レコーディング。
[ Evergreen Road(Kilimanjaro Mix) ]、[ Wind & Wing(Arakawa River Mix) ]を CD限定のボーナストラックとして収録。Bandcampのデジタルファイル版には、[ Princess of Wales Roses ]のバンド音源バージョンを限定収録している。
CDは購入特典として、一部曲のインストゥルメンタルをデジタルファイルで、さらに数量限定で缶バッジをプレゼント。販売はBandcamp、BASE通販、一部のディストリビューター、plant cell ライブ物販のみで販売いたします。※サブスクリプションにボーナストラックは入りません。
plant cell release their first new album in three years.This is the first album after the band changed members to RikiyaWashio on drums.This is a milestone work for plant cell’s ‘Flowergaze’, which has consistently expressed soundscapes that resemble landscape paintings, with flowers, plants and natural landscapes as its subject matter.
The album starts with [Botanical Shower], an up-tempo number that seems to be bathed in negative ions, based on the theme of ‘green’, one of the roots of plant cells. In addition to album versions of [Princess of Wales Roses] and [Summer on Route 134], which were released as singles, the band re-recorded [AZUSA], which was released for free on SoundCloud during their initial activities.
[ Evergreen Road (Kilimanjaro Mix) ] and [ Wind & Wing (Arakawa River Mix) ] are included as CD-only bonus tracks.The Bandcamp digital file version includes a limited-edition band-sourced version of [ Princess of Wales Roses ].
As a CD purchase bonus, digital files of the instrumentals of some of the songs will be given away. In addition, a limited number of badges will be given away.The CD is only available on Bandcamp, BASE mail order, some distributors and plant cell live sales.*Bonus tracks will not be included in subscriptions.

サブスク配信限定シングル [ cyan (Motoyawata Electric Mix) ]

plant cell結成地でもあり、練習本拠地でもある千葉県市川市本八幡。本八幡を近未来化した想定で初期の代表曲「cyan」を大胆にリビルド。JR本八幡駅北口周辺をシアン色に染め上げたジャケットは、無重力空間にいるような浮遊感あふれる楽曲に。
Motoyawata, Ichikawa City, Chiba Prefecture, where plant cell was formed and where they practice. Boldly rebuilding the early representative song “cyan” assuming that Motoyawata is in the near future. The jacket dyed the area around the north exit of JR Motoyawata Station in cyan, making it a floating song that makes you feel like you are in a zero-gravity space.
